Denise’s Delicacies is a long-running, second-generation Black-owned family bakery in North Philadelphia specializing in scratch-made cakes and classic baked goods. The bakery is particularly known for its pound cakes, custom celebration cakes, sweet potato pies, doughnuts, pastries, cookies, cheesecakes and other desserts. It has been a North Philadelphia staple for nearly four decades and has expanded its offerings to include nationwide shipping and local delivery.
