Hakim's Bookstore and Gift Shop

Hakim’s Bookstore & Gift Shop is a historic, family-owned Black bookstore founded in 1959, specializing in African American history and culture, Black studies, children’s literature, biographies, memoirs, rare books, and Afrocentric gifts. It is recognized as one of the oldest Black-owned bookstores in the country.
