Tomesha Faxio

Tomesha Faxio is an Atlanta-based documentary and fine art photographer whose work centers the Black experience, with a particular focus on portraits of Black women and women of color. Her photography explores identity, natural beauty, family, culture, and Black hair. She is also the author and photographer of Wash Day: Passing on the Legacy, Rituals, and Love of Natural Hair.
